Carefree Joy
The carefree joy
Of a little boy and his toy
the sounds come easy
light and breezy
in his imaginary land,
his imaginary hand
flies to unimaginable places,
deep sea oceans and outer spaces
his sheer delight
of his toys in flight
Give him a mighty strength
All while in arms length
Of the carefree joy
Of a little boy and his toy.

My little brother was just playing with this same toy haha!
Fun!
The great thing is that as boys grow into men we still cherish our toys just as much. They just get more expensive and we have to pay for them ourselves!!
Very true! But in reality they can take you further, or can they?
That’s so cute…

A poem about the joy’s of being a boy. Written by me!
Love this…reminds me of my boys and their toys.
Thank you. It’s so amazing to watch children play, if I had half the imagination that my children do my book would have been completed months ago!
I couldn’t agree more! My boys are so creative and so random. I might be writing the wrong book, maybe I should be writing one with them.
I’m sure you are on the right track and there can always be more than one book to write! 🙂
Best of luck to you!
so cute!
Thank you. Observing him can make the hours rush by!
