Heart Breaker

She pounds the ground

Pounding

Resounding

Shaking the earth

Making it quake

Deeper than her heart break

Her hot lava erupts

Into a burning rage Continue reading

ImageEmotional Openness in Relationships

We must first understand ourselves and know what we truly want and need before we can expect another to learn how to do so with us.

Life affords us so many opportunities and chances to show the person that we love that they matter, that we need them.  That they alone can fill a place of dependence and reliance that no other can fill. Continue reading

Unwaivering Knowledge

To the depths of my soul

To all that makes me complete

From the top of my limits

To my grounded feet

To the unwaivering knowledge

Of the most certainty

A love that will span all of infinity

I will be yours

To explore

To the depths of my soul

Your love makes me whole

Complete

So deeply

So sweetly

I didn’t stand in awe at the things that took your breath away Continue reading

BLOG

Today I find myself reading other peoples Blogs and trying to navigate my way around my own Blog attempting to figure out how this all works. I am not very technologically inclined so I find this phase rather frustrating and distracting.

I have a love/hate relationship with technology and social media.  Technology is changing the way we communicate, operate, think and socialize.  It is also changing our priorities (ex. my spending the day figuring out how to navigate this Blog and worrying about whether or not it is aesthetically appealing rather than focusing my attentions to writing)

But I have been heard saying that I like to equate a depth of knowledge with a depth of over all character.  People that are willing to invest time to read and research seem to be the same people that take time for all of the things around them with an understanding that we can’t be in all places at once but to be present in the places that we are at.

So, I learn to Blog.

I am a ‘Wordy’ (word junky) and the word BLOG is so, well, for lack of a better word, blah.”
