The air was frigid
Pungent with must
Odors of mold
Abandoned and untold
From her bleeding lips
Her wobbly hips
How are you all!?
What book has been on your coffee table or beach blanket for that matter, this summer?
I’ve been reading ‘lullabies for little criminals’ by Heather O’Neill
While not for the faint of heart this novel is frustratingly real.
“A gritty, heart-wrenching novel about bruised innocence on the city’s feral streets- the remarkable debut of a stunning literary talent” is right!
It’s just what the doctor prescribed for me this summer.
It’s inspired some grittier writing of my own.
I’d like to introduce those of you haven’t heard about Read Tuesday to this spectacular event!
I’d like to thank Jennifer, Writings of a Mrs., for the opportunity to do this guest post. (*my pleasure Chris*)
The problem with Black Friday for book sales:
Every year when Black Friday arrives, customers do plenty of shopping, buying products for themselves and gifts for others. Stores offer enticing discounts, at least on select products, and shoppers stand in lines for hours before the stores even open. Continue reading
I could really use a book review for my poetry anthology The Vault Main Floor on my Smashwords profile.
Many of my poems from my blog and similar such styling can be found in my book.
If you have a minute to spare and some words to share I would greatly appreciate it.
If you need anything let me know what I can do for you!
Cheers to you all.
P.S While you are there you could always pick up a copy for yourself… !
The first anthology of my work The Vault is available for purchase!!
You can find it here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/365167
Will you be the first one to buy it?
I want to thank my entire blog community for inspiring me and encouraging me along the way!
I also want to give a big thank you to Laura Lords for all of her help with designing the cover, I
think it turned out beautifully!
Cheers and continued success to you all!

So I had a collaboration booked for this week with We Drink Because we’re Poets but something came up with on their end so the collaboration was unable to happen but watch for it in the upcoming months!
Stuck in a short time crunch and wanting to help some one on my Pay Day Thursday I thought it a great opportunity to introduce you all to Christina Jones.
Christina approached me recently asking to interview me for her upcoming news letter and I agreed.
The interview will be available in July and you if you are interested in learning more about me and my journey to becoming the blogger that I am today please sign up for her newsletter to read the interview. I asked Christina about the process of developing a newsletter as I do not have one for my blog and it is something that I am interested in doing.
Given the free block of time I felt it a great opportunity to give Christina some exposure and to interview her as well.
