After some time away and a fresh return Writings of a Mrs now has a new look and some exciting new ideas.
Oh and did I mention I am now a .com site!
I’m looking for guest bloggers to feature once weekly.
For those of you interested you will also see the return of ‘The Storetry’. I would like to have at least two more installments before releasing the first ‘Storetry’ Collaboration eBook!
I will also be continuing and showcasing Friday’s Featured Poet as well.
If any of the above interests you please see the tabs listed at the top of my main page for more information.
Please feel free to share your thoughts with me.
What do you think of the new look?
So I had a collaboration booked for this week with We Drink Because we’re Poets but something came up with on their end so the collaboration was unable to happen but watch for it in the upcoming months!
Stuck in a short time crunch and wanting to help some one on my Pay Day Thursday I thought it a great opportunity to introduce you all to Christina Jones.
Christina approached me recently asking to interview me for her upcoming news letter and I agreed.
The interview will be available in July and you if you are interested in learning more about me and my journey to becoming the blogger that I am today please sign up for her newsletter to read the interview. I asked Christina about the process of developing a newsletter as I do not have one for my blog and it is something that I am interested in doing.
Given the free block of time I felt it a great opportunity to give Christina some exposure and to interview her as well.
So here we are again with another Pay Day Thursday.
I have been so enjoying doing these Thursdays and having the opportunity to work with so many fabulous artists.

I created this poem to perform as spoken word for my first Pay Day collaboration turning my Gravy Baby poem to song Introducing Ray the Musical Poet. It was to be my intro but I’m not nearly ready to attempt spoken word yet, it’s quite the challenge. If you don’t know much about spoken word I encourage you take a look.
I want to share the poem with you. I’m excited to get it ready to perform. This poem puts into word my passion for collaboration of the arts, to create something new.
This Blog has been viewed by 94 countries worldwide, that blows my mind! I want to say a warm welcome to people from all countries and all nations!
