I’ve died a million deaths

Stolen lifetimes of breath

To breathe life into you

But you are dying

While lying there

Without care

You are starving

But you won’t eat

Torment, your treat

Nothing left to nourish your soul

You lost the half that made you whole

*NOTE: This poem is a comparable, it is not actually about death and resuscitation, it’s about life and spirit in relationships.   I intended to use the word lying, it was not a typo for laying*
