This is about a year or so too late for my gang, although I still cut up their apples after school because they prefer it that way and also because they do get wiggly teeth that make it hard to bite into apples. But I cannot be alone when I say; I have no idea […]
It’s been one of those days where nothing can help but bacon. So, tonight we have breakfast for dinner. I love breakfast for dinner.Β It’s one of my all time favorite comfort foods.
I thought you all might find this as helpful as I did!
MAKE AND TAKE THE TIME FOR THE RELATIONSHIPS THAT MATTER DON’T FORGET HOW AND WHERE ‘IT’ ALL STARTED…….
Out of sorrow for seeing summer go?…
Both the summer and my daughter who will be going to university next year… π
A metaphor.
Ah, the words flow well and I could sense they connected to something deep. I’m a dad, but mine are youngins’ still. Not ready yet for some of the transitions life brings along.
Enjoy it while they are young. Time certainly does fly by. She will always be my baby girl.. π
Thanks, I sure am!
I know that feeling well
Autumn will pass. And it’s always fun to look forward to what’s coming. It won’t be long and it’ll be summer. π
I can dig it been there as well. Brilliant use of Autumns emotion with personal melancholy…
Thank you. π
In Texas it’s hard to have tears in autumn because the temperatures finally cool enough to bring about smiles. π
I bet! I’m sure it gets quite hot there! π
Indeed! P.S. Great poem!
Thank you. π

Not spoke for a while-we’ve been journeying for a while now Writing Sofa Mrs π Still enjoying your stuff.
Thank you Andy. I’m happy to hear that! How was your summer?
Summer was good. Didn’t holiday this year-there is an economic downturn you know! But had lots of days out. And the weather was better than last Year’s washout. And now we are in my favourite half of the year.
How was yours?
Nice. The spare, full beauty in these lines are fantastic.
Thank you so much. I appreciate it π
Beautiful raw emotion.
Thank you.
Beautiful! The seasons change many times as our babies grow up into adults. It will be a new season, but hopefully it will create a new depth in your relationship with her. I imagine you must be so proud of her, even as you long for the younger years.
Absolutely. She is such a wonder to me π
Parenting. There is nothing better π
