Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting (with Poem)
Fleeting Memories
Fleeting memories of time gone by
Snuggles and cuddles
the warmth of your touch
So slowly yet, so fast,
time dances around us
Warms us
Surrounds us
Blankets of warm life
Just for us
The stolen moments for just me and you
I so often watch you when you don’t know
watching you grow
so fleetingly
Memories that I hold dear to me
Near to me
Yeah and most of the time we don’t realize how fleeting they are. My youngest is 23 and I look back and smile
I cant imagine! Mine is 6 now and I am dreading his getting older! (well on some days..lol)
Jennifer, these memories will be supplemented, not replaced, by newer and just as wonderful things to remember. We’ve enjoyed our girls more every year and they’re in their 20’s. They’re different memories, but still good ones.

For sure our eldest is almost 20!
He will be in November.
The baby just turned 6.
It’s like my love relationship with my husband it grows and builds upon but I still look back fondly on our falling in love phase just as I look back fondly to the chubby little baby hand days!
Family is a wonderful thing isn’t it?
Definitely! Enjoy them.

Make the most of the cuddles x
Forsure!
Reminds me of that wonderful scene in ‘Brave’, when little Merida is terrified by the storm and hides under the rug …
So true….
Precious, precious photo.
Because of my inexperience with tagging, I don’t think this post even showed up on the Reader back then. I think you’ll “get it”….
